The Guides will be at the start of the competitive stage, near the Hotel Carlos V° in Alghero: “the Tour riders” depart at 9:15 AM, immediately after the racers.
THE RECOMMENDED ROUTE: There’s no doubt about what to do: enjoy the Alghero/Bosa coastal road on the racers’ route! The road is a masterpiece from the first kilometer to the last, and Bosa is also worth a visit … but covering 40 challenging kilometers there and back is certainly not within the reach of all Tour participants. Obviously, it’s best to stay in a group to share views and photographs … but this time, those with more energy and fitness can also “extend” by perhaps trying to at least reach the Refreshment point (35 km), but it won’t be easy. If you have an assisted or electric bike, “conquer” Bosa and also take the loop beyond the Temo River and into the city: it’s worth it!
Naturally, along the route there will be the MedioGiro and GranGiro riders competing in the race.
