Meet the Guides in front of the Hotel Baia di Conte: “the Tour riders” depart at 9:00 AM and along the route will be overtaken by the GranGiro and MedioGiro groups, launched at full speed … be careful!
THE RECOMMENDED ROUTE: It’s a shame you can’t reach La Pelosa Beach in Stintino, which is part of the GranGiro route, but it’s really too far to cycle there and back; it’s better to follow the racers’ route to Palmadula (20 km). The road is Pianura Sarda (…so full of ups and downs, never challenging, but enjoyable because they’re short)! Once you reach Palmadula, you leave the racers’ route and descend to the sea at Argentiera (25 km): an enchanted place full of beauty … and ancient abandoned mines, in a fairytale landscape that has served as the backdrop for several successful films. Then you return along the same road.
